Negative semen detection with positive saliva test results catches cheater girlfriend I never expected that I would catch my girlfriend cheating by having oral sex performed on her by her friend. On 7 April 2009 I sent SSDI two pair of my girlfriend’s panties retrieved from a hotel room. The next day I received a detailed test report demonstrating that both pair of panties were negative for semen but positive for saliva. I needed closure to this so I ordered DNA profiling one pair of panties. A male profile was obtained and compared to my mouth swab and the two profiles were different. I confronted my girlfriend and she called me crazy and agreed to get a sample from the person I suspected (her friend) and also take a lie detector test. SSDI advised me to call her bluff and after attempting to get the suspects sample my girlfriend moved out. SSDI provided excellent assistance before, during, and after the testing.
DNA Analysis Report Case # FR2009979 (GQ0019368) On April 15, 2009, an envelope was delivered to the office via FedEx Delivery (tracking # 7965 1780 XXXX). The contents were checked in and processed immediately. On April 16, 2009, an envelope was delivered to the office via FedEx Delivery (tracking # 7965 1877 XXXX). The contents were checked in and processed immediately. Evidence The items to be tested are Sample R1- 1.7 ml tube with black cloth punches labeled “PSA92459B, Pos for Saliva only”, and Sample R2- buccal swab packet containing two buccal swabs labeled “Control Sample”, dated 04/15/09. Sample R1 was consumed during testing and Sample R2 was moved from the extraction area to evidence storage, Bin A18. Analysis Cell lysis, DNA extraction, PCR and Genotyper was performed on a small section of the sample. In addition, a Y-PLEX PCR analyzing the alleles DYS389I, DYS439, DYS438, DYS437, DYS392, DYS393, DYS19, DYS389II, DYS390, DYS391, and DYS385 was also performed on the sample. Results: Y-PLEX ANALYSIS RESULTS: Allele and Number of Repeats
Conclusions: Based on the analysis of the alleles DYS389I, DYS439, DYS438, DYS437, DYS392, DYS393, DYS19, DYS389II, DYS390, DYS391, and DYS385, the profiles obtained from Sample R1 and Sample R2 are consistent with male DNA, and multiple profiles were obtained for Sample R1. Sample R2 is excluded as a contributor to Sample R1.
